is hosted by

Aminder Mann, CPA

  • Aminder is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and the founder of Sequoia CPA, a modern accounting firm based in Seattle, WA. After years of working behind the scenes with fast-growing tech companies like Smartsheet, Icertis, and Artica—helping them scale and even go public—she saw firsthand how powerful financial clarity could be.

She started Sequoia CPA to bring that same level of insight and strategy to small business owners. Aminder believes bookkeeping isn’t just about staying organized—it’s about giving entrepreneurs the tools and confidence to make smarter decisions and build the businesses they dream of. Her goal is to make finances feel approachable, empowering, and a true asset to growth.

Originally from Calgary, Canada, Aminder now calls Seattle home, where she lives with her husband. When she’s not working, you’ll usually find her outside hiking, gardening, or just soaking in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Leah McCool

  • Founded in early 2024, Leah’s company, Orca Accounting, partners with entrepreneurs who are building something they love — offering bookkeeping, clean-ups, catch-ups, and strategy sessions to keep you confident and moving forward.

With a background in family business, public accounting, and the startup sector, Leah’s clients have clarity, feel supported, and like they have a lively, approachable professional on their financial team.

Leah is based in Eugene, Oregon, but enjoys the part-time nomadic perks that having an online business offers. Therefore, she can be found crabbing on the coast of Oregon, dining out in Portland, or visiting her parents in Northern California.
